Amaru Sabbenerica is an amaro made with artichoke, bay leaf, lemon and other herbs. It has an intense and enveloping aroma that captivates you from the first sip. The word Sabbenerica is an ancient expression or rather an ancient greeting used up to the years ’50 by Sicilian grandparents and great-grandparents. Literally it means “sia blessed ”. It was precisely a form of blessing that we exchanged on the streets of Sicilian villages.
